“Up In Smoke,” is a series of photos of cannabis culture in British Columbia where celebrations of pot smoking were widely accepted even before legalization.
I was interested in the different cultures and lifestyles that this city houses and the power that the community holds to inspire and make change.
I decided to follow these events and so, over the years, I immersed myself in the smoke and created these portraits.
Pachecos, es una serie de fotos sobre la cultura de la cannabis en la Columbia Británica, en donde fumar y celebrar la marihuana es socialmente aceptado desde mucho antes de la legalización de ésta.
Llaman la atención las diferentes culturas y estilos de vida que esta ciudad alberga y el poder que la comunidad tiene para impulsar cambios.
Me di a la tarea de participar en estos eventos e introducirme, uno que otro año, en la gran humareda para crear retratos.
